On June 17th, 2006 at 9:05 pm we received SonaVision
Motion alarms with SonaVision Video on the
“outside back” area. The Central Station operator
dispatched the Lexington Police Department to the
business, giving them a detailed description of the
suspect, including sex, race and an accurate description
of the suspects clothing. She described the suspect down
to the color of his socks! In addition to that
information, she was also able to give them continual
updates on the suspect’s activities. |

The video surveillance enabled the operator to watch the suspect as
he was opening tool boxes on the company’s work trucks
and removing tools from them. The police as well as the
police helicopter arrived on the scene at 9:12pm at
which time the suspect had fled the scene. Most people
don’t even know that Lexington has a police helicopter
as our crime rate is so low! Due to the detailed
description, the police were able to identify and
apprehend the suspect! Without the SonaVision video
verification, this would not have generated such a quick
and serious response by the police.
